SFC 2026 Scholarship Competition
We held our Annual Scholarship Competition and the results are in!
A huge thank you first to Breanna Daley, our competition coordinator, for putting it all together. Thank you also to our adjudicators; Matt Krejci, Francesca Anderson, and Rachel Geier.
Our winners in the High School division each performed two excerpts from the Chaminade Concertino, plus an unaccompanied piece of their choice.
Sabrina Hu, a freshman from Mira Loma High School, came in first. Shiyi Sun, a sophomore from Franklin High School, got second, and Henry Ohm, a freshman at Vista del Lago High School, came in third.
Our winners in the Collegiate division each performed an excerpt from Adolphus Hailstork’s Yuhwa, plus an unaccompanied piece of their choice.
Soraya Roman from Sacramento State, came in first, Henrie Notley from University of the Pacific, got second, and Riko Hirata, also from University of the Pacific, came in third.
